Non-Degree-Seeking Student Admissions


Non-Degree-Seeking Students include students who are currently enrolled at another institution and simply wish to take a class at Lenoir-Rhyne College, students who are interested in personal enrichment and would like to take a class or two, and Post Baccalaureate or Post Masters students who are not seeking a degree. Admission:
An application, accompanied by a non-refundable $35 application fee, must be completed each semester you plan to enroll in classes at Lenoir-Rhyne University. There is an aggregate enrollment limit for non-degree-seeking students of 6 credit hours. Any courses taken as a non-degree-seeking student may or may not be accepted for future credit in a LRU degree-seeking-program.

Enrichment Student - students interested in taking a class for their personal enjoyment.

Financial Aid:
Traditional (Federal, State, and College) sources of financial aid are not available to non-degree seeking students. Non-degree seeking students may be eligible for an Alternative Loan. Click here for more information on Alternative Loans
