Equivalency Guides for
LRU Core Requirements (56-59 credits)

2004-2005

"Transferring made easy"

Lenoir-Rhyne graduates complete a group of courses (56-59 credit hours) called the “Core Curriculum”.  The Core is our commitment to liberal arts education and provides students with knowledge of a variety of subject matters.  Most students take Core classes early in their collegiate studies and concentrate on their major field of study in the last two years.  We find that transfer students usually take some of these core courses at a community college in preparation for transferring to Lenoir-Rhyne.

To assist you in academic planning, we have provided our 2004-2005 Equivalency Guide for our Core Curriculum.  Each community college within the North Carolina Community College System is covered with this equivalency guide.  Please use it as a “roadmap” to maximize your transferable credits.  You may call the Admissions Office at any time with specific questions.
