Lenoir-Rhyne is proud to be one of the new North Carolina Teaching
Fellows institutions. Lenoir-Rhyne was founded as a college to
educate teachers in western North Carolina in 1891 and we are proud to
continue that tradition by joining with the NC Teaching Fellows program.
At Lenoir-Rhyne you will be taught by professors that are experts in
their fields, and you will interact with top teaching professionals
through early "real world" experiences in the classrooms of surrounding
school systems. From local to global, you'll gain experience and insight
into how education works -- through Leadership Power Breakfasts with
local education and business leaders and travel opportunities that
include "Alternative" Spring Break service learning projects in the
U.S., and a comparative education trip abroad funded by the college and
local school system (China, Denmark, Finland, and Poland are just a few
countries to consider). Come join us on this journey ... for more
