Lenoir-Rhyne College understands the needs of transfer students and has made a commitment to serve those needs. Whether you're transferring from a community college or another four-year institution, we want to make the process as easy as possible.

The transfer population on L-R's campus is a growing one. In recent school years, over 37% of our students were transfer students. That's a population of over 320, so as you can see, we've become a popular choice for students looking to further their college careers or those wanting to make a change from their current institution.

Let us show you how easy the transfer process can be!

Come to a Transfer Open House

If you've never been here or have questions about LRC, this will be time well spent. Open House is an informal chance to see what we offer for transfer students.  We'll have an information session and take a walking campus tour - you'll be finished by 11:00AM. Click here to register online

Thinking about transferring to Lenoir-Rhyne from a North Carolina Community College?

To make the planning process easier, L-R has now made available an equivalency guide for North Carolina Community Colleges. It is designed to assist students who may be thinking of taking a few more classes at the community college. There are equivalent course numbers listed that will help in maximizing time at the community college and getting the most out of classes taken.

If you have earned an Associate of Arts degree from a NC Community College, the only LRC core courses you need are 6 credit hours of foreign language and 6 credit hours of religion.
