The department has excellent facilities that guarantee adequate space for each student to work comfortably and creatively.
Studios have been designed for the very purpose of their use. Facilities include studios for ceramics, sculpture, photography, painting, print making, drawing, design, computer lab and separate lecture rooms.

Student's Talk:

"Studying art allows you to remove yourself from the mainstream classes, and express yourself in other ways. Drawing and painting helped me to look at the world from another point of view. I would like to share my love and knowledge of art, encouraging high school students to see the world in different ways, and inspire them to become art majors, too."
Jamie Clark, Senior
(Art Education)

"I would like to gain a basic grasp of art fundamentals that will help me pursue my goals in architecture and computer-aided graphic design. I want to design affordable homes that fit people's needs."
Ryan Kelly, Junior
(Computer-Aided Graphic Design)

"Art and computers have always interested me, and Computer-Aided Graphic Design is a perfect marriage of the two. Because the job market is favorable for the major, and the classes are enjoyable, I would recommend the program to other students. My plans are to work as a graphics or web page designer."
Nick Poindexter, Senior
(Computer-Aided Graphic Design)

"The art classes here help to free me from absolute conformity."
Coleman Setzer, Senior
