Lifelong
Learning Program
The Charles M. Snipes School
of Business
has a strong lifelong program for Marketing, Management and Accounting
majors. The classes are set up in two mini
sessions per semester. Students normally take two classes each mini
session which meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-8:10 and from
8:20-10:30. If students take 12 credit hours, they will be eligible
for the NC scholarship grant. A few Math and Computer courses are offered on
Mondays and/or Wednesdays all semester. This allows flexibility in
scheduling and the possibility of a faster completion of degree
requirements. In addition, students may take day classes at a lower
tuition rate if they qualify as lifelong learning students.

Most of the Evening College courses in the Snipes School of Business will be taught by full-time professors. Our
adjunct professors are carefully chosen to provide quality
instruction. The classes are shorter in total contact hours during the
evening; however, the same amount of material is covered. Students are
expected to make up the time with additional study and out of class
assignments.
The
varied business experience of students results in interesting class
discussions. Students could realistically complete their degree requirements
in five years. With careful scheduling of classes, summer
enrollment, and an occasional day class, students could complete their degree
requirements in four years.
