Finance
Major
The Finance curriculum provides an understanding of the financial
decision-making process in the private and public sector and understanding
of how financial markets operate. This major prepares students for
financial and general management careers in private, business organizations,
nonprofit organizations, and government.
Students who major in finance can
look for exciting careers in commercial and investment banking, real estate,
corporate finance management and treasury functions, and insurance organizations. In
addition, finance is important for management careers in organization
planning, financial analysis, management consulting, and small
business management. Graduates from the program are also well-prepared
for postgraduate studies in all areas of business.
