Paying a Past Due Account
Lenoir-Rhyne
College is very proud of the friendly feeling that exists between our
students and ourselves. It is evident that the relationship is pleasant
and beneficial to both of us. By making the effort to take care of your
obligation to your educational debt, you will be making great strides
toward maintaining your good credit rating.
Please
read the following information carefully, then click on the link below
to access the Promissory Note. Print the Promissory Note, fill it out
and send the notarized copy to: Lenoir-Rhyne College Attn: Debbie
Punch; PO Box 7227; Hickory, NC 28603. If you have any problems opening
this link, contact the Director of Student Accounts at (828) 328-7105 or by email
at punchd@lrc.edu and we will
gladly fax, mail or email a Promissory Note to you.
All
past due balances with L-R accrue a 1 ½ % finance charge every 30 days.
We do not release transcripts or diplomas or allow registration until
all balances are paid in full. Any account that remains past due for
3 months is subject to being turned over to a Collection Agent,
Attorney's fees added and the
balance reported to the Credit Bureau. By filling out the attached Promissory
Note and returning it, you will be indicating your intention to pay
this account and as long as payments are made on the agreed upon schedule,
the account will not be turned over for collections and the balance
will not be reported to the credit bureau. Thank you for your attention
