First I would like to say thank you to Mrs. Diane Phillips for getting me addicted to the math card game Krypto  and for showing me that not all math teachers are boring.

In math class we do a variety of things that involve our daily lives and math concepts, along with playing Krypto. We conducted research on M&M's to see how many of each color was in each bag and to see if  the M&M company was consistent with there product which they were for the most part. We have studied probability and how to find the probability of practically everything. Mrs. Diane was taught us a tremendous amount of information in only a matter of weeks. We attend class every morning daily so our minds are fresh and running early in the morning. Mrs. Philips makes math fun and EXTREMELY understandable. Besides doing statistics and probability we have also started on a geometry section that ties in with probability. We have made pyramids by hand  ( paper that is) and we found the surface area and the volume all figured out by measurements.
