Letter from the Professor    

Within the Communication Department, there are three areas of concentration including Print Media, Corporate, and Electronic Media. I am responsible for the Corporate Track. I am responsible for the Corporate track program with our major. 

As an assistant professor of communications I am responsible for the teaching several communication courses, including Speech Communication, Organizational Communications, Nonprofit Public Relations, and Communication Appreciation. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I also handle the Internship Program for all communication majors and serve as one of the advisor for the Communication Club here on campus. 

My undergraduate work in Communications Media was completed at  Appalachian State University. I received my Masters in Organizational Management from Pfeiffer University and I am currently pursuing my doctoral degree in Education with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University.  

A native of Hickory, my husband, Michael, and I live in Bethlehem with our two wonderful children Kailyn and Cole.
