CSC115 offers an an
introduction to computing terminology and
technology. Students will learn the basic function of MS_Word,
MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Access Students will complete assignments in each of these tools.
The class is a combination of Lecture and Discussion on current computer topics
to include hardware and software overview, internet and web topics, and ethical
dilemmas facing a global world.
No prior computer knowledge is required. However, the course is
fast-paced, and students are expected to attend class and turn in homework on time.
Course Technology courseware is used. A
Blackboard web site is used for course management
