Professor Hull has taught Computer Science and Mathematics at Lenoir-Rhyne College since 1987.  He is currently the Chair of the School of Computing Sciences and Mathematics.  Prior to 1987, he taught Mathematics and Computer Science for 17 years as a Professor at Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY.  He was Department Coordinator there for two years.

Personal Information

Prof. Hull lives with his wife, Carol, in Hickory, North Carolina.  Both are active in environmental issues in the area, especially waste reduction, recycling, and household hazardous waste disposal.  Carol is also a member of the Hickory Choral Society and an active Master Gardener.

Prof. Hull is also an active musician, appearing regularly in the Hickory area and beyond.  He regularly performs with the groups "Musica Nostra" (acoustic swing and Italian mandolin classics), "Centerpiece" (jazz standards), and "Something Else" (folk, ragtime, and swing) as well as playing guitar, bass, mandolin and banjo at various jazz and folk venues in and around Hickory.   He has also performed with the Lenoir-Rhyne Jazz Ensemble (on guitar and bass), provided music for various area theater productions, and accompanied a number of student recitals for the music department on classical and jazz guitar.  Click here to visit his Music Web Site.
