Planning Information
Welcome to Lenoir-Rhyne College Classic Fare Catering Services. Our staff is ready to serve you to make your event an outstanding and memorable occasion!

We are pleased to present our catering guide on-line to assist you in planning catered events. You'll find menu suggestions, prices, and food service policies. Catering Services Executive Chef Eddie Wesson will be happy to customize a menu for your special event. Please call Chef Eddie at 828-328-7005 for details.

ARAMARK has exclusive rights for all food service functions held on campus. No food or beverage may be brought in by event participants or outside caterers. 

Room Reservations
Rooms available for catered events are coordinated by the Event Services Office of Lenoir-Rhyne College. Please call 828-328-7254 first to check room availability as soon as you decide your event date.

After reserving your room, please contact Catering Services Executive Chef Eddie Wesson at wessone@lrc.edu or (828) 328-7005 to discuss the details of your event. When scheduling services, we will need the following information:

  • Date & time of event
  • Location of event
  • Name of the organization & contact person
  • Purchase order number
  • Estimated number of guests
  • Type of service required
  • Menu selections

Final Guest Guarantees
A final guest guarantee is required two business days prior to your event. If no guarantee is received, we will plan according to the estimated guest count. If your event is on a Sunday or Monday, the final guest count must be submitted before noon on Thursday. If the actual guest count exceeds the guaranteed count, you will be billed for the actual count.

Service Charges
Normal service time is two hours for full-service functions. Events which extend beyond this time may incur additional service charges. If you think your event will exceed two hours, please consult Catering Services in advance.

Delivery Service
Arrangements for delivery service should be made with Catering Services no less than 5 days in advance. 

Pick-Up Service/Fast Casual Catering
Fast Casual Catering is available for some items such as box lunches, breaks, hors d'oeuvres and cookouts. These items are provided on disposable serviceware and include all necessary disposable cups, plates and utensils. Please place your order 5 business days in advance. Fast Casual Catering orders may be picked up from the dining hall. 

Billing Procedure
A 50% down payment based on the guaranteed number is required two weeks prior to the event. The remaining balance must be paid the day of the day of the event. Checks should be made payable to ARAMARK.
