Meal Plans
All
residence hall students, including Greek house residents, are
required to have a meal plan. If you live on campus, you are
automatically enrolled in a meal plan. Your student ID card
electronically identifies you as a dining plan member.
All resident meal plans are
combined with Bear Bucks. You can use these in all of our service
locations on campus. You may choose to supplement your meal plan
with Declining Balance Dollars (DBDs) so that you can enjoy all
the retail dining options on campus. DBDs can be added to any meal
plan at any time.
Your meal plan starts the first day residence
halls are open and ends the last day of exams. Meal plans start on Wednesday and
end on Tuesday. Any unused meals expire
after dinner on Tuesday. Meals can be used any day of the week.
All food must be eaten in the Dining Hall and may not be taken
out, except for one piece of fruit or one ice cream cone. For
sanitation purposes, no
outside drink containers are permitted in the Dining Hall.
If you find your meal plan isn't working with your schedule, you
can change your plan only during the first two weeks of
fall and spring semester.
