Educational Technology EDU 360
|
The Educational Technology course is a requirement for all students
seeking initial licensure through the School of Education at
Lenoir-Rhyne University. This course is designed to help candidates
meet state licensure requirements and the National Educational
Technology Standards for Teachers
EDU 360 is taught in the Fall, Spring and Summer
semesters and uses the Intel Teach to the Future Curriculum. The
Intel program is a worldwide initiative to help pre-service candidates
as well as in-service candidates effectively integrate the use of
computer technology into the classroom curriculum using an inquiry-based
learning. The focus is on development of research, communications
and publication skills.

A Technology Portfolio is required for licensure in
North Carolina and all candidates seeking this licensure create the
majority of the evidence for this portfolio in the technology in
education course.
