Event Services Technical Rider

This form is to assist users of facilities at Lenoir-Rhyne College with acquiring the technical services that are provided, as well as to provide the campus technical staff and event services with the information needed to provide these services. All requests regarding technical equipment provided by the auditorium staff must be through this technical rider and submitted to the campus technical director. All such requests are to be made no later than two weeks before the event. If any technical requests are made after that time, the services rendered will souly be at the discretion and convenience of the auditorium staff. The equipment and technical services will be ready no sooner than the access time registered with Event Services. Start and End times will also be strictly adhered to unless arranged for ahead of time. In addition, any material to be constructed, hung or flown in the auditorium facilities must be approved of by the campus technical director in advance. The auditorium staff will not provide any additional hardware, (screws, nails, tools, etc.) for outside materials or equipment, nor will they provide any repair services. The auditorium staff reserves the right to refuse use any materials or equipment brought in by the individuals or groups using the facilities. All requests of use of the facilities must be reserved through the Event Services office. Please report any and all damage to the facility or equipment in use immediately. Any damages caused by the users of the facilities will incur further cost on renter or the department. The campus technical director has the final word on equipment to be utilized.

Sound Requirements
Please list any microphones, playback systems or any other specific sound related requirements if you know what they are. If you are doing an event that is outside the two auditoriums, please list the size of the system you think you will require for the event. If you are not certain what your requirements are, simply list what you will be doing:

 

Lighting Requirements
List any special lighting arrangements that the event will require, including all specials, spotlights, and lighting changes:

Stage Requirements
List any staging such as tables, chairs, platforms, risers, podiums, or any other additional non-technical equipment that the event requires onstage. Also please list here if your event requires a piano, and if the piano requires tuning. Use the space available to draw out a stage plot if the event requires a specific setup. Crew Information
The number of crew working any event is at the discretion of the technical director, with a minimum of one student worker for the Belk Centrum, and two for P.E. Monroe. If the event requires additional personel, please list them here along with the duties they will be fulfilling.

Additional Equipment
List here any equipment that does not fall in any other previous category. This includes, video projectors, slide projectors, laptops, or anything else that may be a technical requirement for the event.
