Biography
Dr. Long joined
the faculty of Lenoir-Rhyne College in the fall semester of
2005. She serves as Assistant Professor of Healthful Living and
Sport Studies, Clinical Coordinator of the Athletic Training
program, and Assistant Athletic Trainer. Dr. Long is
responsible for care of student athletes on the cross-country
and track teams. She also oversees the clinical assignments of
the athletic training students. She teaches classes such as
Biomechanics and Athletic Injury Assessment, as well as clinical
education. Dr. Long has conducted research in the area of
functional fatigue and its effect on landing kinetics and
kinematics. She has a sincere interest in student travel and
study abroad. She will be leading a student study abroad trip
to London, England in March, 2008.

in Hickory with her husband, Joey. |
