Honors
Program Application: If you are a current
student at Lenoir-Rhyne and would like to join
the Honors Program, please download this
application form and submit it to the Honors
Director.
Portfolio:
This document describes the requirements for
the portfolio and the elements that should be
included. All Honors students should submit
the portfolio to the Honors Director at the
end of your junior year (i.e. 3 semesters
before you expect to graduate).
Reflective
Essay: This assignment is required of all
honors students in their first year (usually
as part of LRC 101) or is submitted in their
application to join the honors program.
Community
Service Log: This log should be downloaded
at the beginning of each academic year and
filled out by your supervisor at your
community service site. It will be submitted
as part of the portfolio (see above).
Resume
Writing Workshop: This form should be
filled out by the leader of the workshop that
you attend. It also should be submitted with
your portfolio.
In
Course Honors: If you have received
permission from the Honors Director to do In
Course Honors for one of the required Honors
core curriculum courses, you should fill out
this form in consultation with the instructor
of the course and submit it to the Honors
Director.
