Annual Faculty/Staff Picnic Aug. 18, 1999Employee Benefits Information

Certain life events (such as marriage, change of employment status, and others) trigger a change in use of your University benefits.  They make it necessary for you to update personal information on file with Lenoir-Rhyne University.  This life events checklist should help you find what you need according to specific topics.  It consists of short overviews of what you need to do when certain events occur.

This information should be used only as a guide.  It is not intended to replace formal policy statements and summary plan descriptions, nor does it override or supersede prior descriptions of employee benefits.  Any conflict between this document and actual plan documents should be resolved in favor of the plan documents.  Refer to the plan documents for more detailed information.

Contact the Benefits Office for assistance by visiting Lineberger 212 or calling extension 7018 (328-7018 from off campus).  You can also e-mail Ann Marie Blackmon at blackmona@lrc.edu.
