Richard Rudisill.

Mission Statement
The Carl A. Rudisill Library strives
to support the mission of Lenoir-Rhyne College
by providing the information resources needed by the members of the
College community for the successful pursuit of the academic programs.
Where possible, it also supports non- academic programs by providing
library resources and services.
The Library affords students the opportunity to augment classroom
experience with independent learning and encourages reading for recreation
and general information. To further student learning, the Library
develops users' skill in the full and effective use of library resources
and services.
The Library Staff is responsible for assessing, in cooperation with
faculty and administration, college needs for library resources and
services. They also seek useful information, techniques, and
technology from the library, information, and education professions to
meet needs and improve services.
A vision statement for the library, 2008-2012 has recently been
compiled and will be posted here soon.
