Carl Augustus Rudisill Library (1943)
Built in 1943, Rudisill Library contains more than 147,000 accessioned volumes, subscriptions to 5821 periodicals and 40 newspapers; there are over 40,000 audio visuals, 450,000 microforms, and access to 101 Databases. Enlarged and remodeled in 1967; added a learning resource center in 1983 containing TV studio, graphics laboratory, dark rooms, three academic computer centers, curriculum laboratory, media classrooms, writing center and an audiovisual center; erected with money given by Mr. and Mrs. Carl A. Rudisill, Cherryville, N.C., and their children, Mr. and Mrs. T.W. Borland and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Richard Rudisill.
