Greetings from Pastor Andrew Weisner, Lenoir-Rhyne's University Pastor

Welcome to Lenoir-Rhyne's Campus Ministry web page. We try to give you here, using a few photos and text, a "taste" of our life together and spiritual formation at L-R. But it is only a taste. Please (as the apostle Philipp said to Nathanael, John 1:46), "Come and see." Lenoir-Rhyne is a place truly worthy of a spiritual pilgrimage.

We are informed by the great Western Christian Tradition and our Lutheran heritage, WORSHIP is the most important thing we do. In worship we actually enter into God's presence, encountering and interacting with our Lord in the Word proclaimed, in prayer, music, and actually receiving Christ in his sacraments.

Chapel Services are every Wednesday (during each semester) at 9:20 a.m.; L-R holds no classes during this time in order that anyone who wants may attend Chapel. Music at Chapel is varied, and excellent.

Every day at 3:00 pm, we commemorate our Lord's sacrifice on the Cross by celebrating the Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion). From there, the blessing and grace of God flows... in our fellowship groups, Bible studies, spiritual renewal retreats, and especially, serving others on and off campus.

"Come, share the Spirit" of Christ at Lenoir-Rhyne; "Come and see."
