Friends of Music

The Friends of Music membership program was established at Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2002 to promote and support the Music Program of the university.

The Music Program benefits Lenoir-Rhyne University, the church, and the Hickory community by providing high-quality performances and by providing students with a first-rate musical education.

As part of the Music Program, the Sacred Music Program serves the changing needs of full- and part-time church musicians and trains musicians of every denomination. It cultivates the gift of music that deepens God's relationship with the world.

More than 100 students participate in the various music programs and ensembles that are available to all Lenoir-Rhyne students. By clicking on the tabs to the left of the page you can discover many of the opportunities available.

The support of the Friends of Music enables Lenoir-Rhyne University to continue to offer excellent curricular programs and musical ensembles. Your support also enhances the Concert Series, a program that features performances by top professional musical artists.
