About the Workshop
Lenoir-Rhyne College is once again offering teachers
and other professional voice users this innovative
workshop dealing with how to coordinate a healthy voice with supported
breathing. Basic laryngeal and respiratory structures and functions,
breathing techniques, and correct vocal usage exercises will be
discussed and practiced. Participants will learn about projected
(resonant) speaking and singing through interactive videotaped
Demonstration/Observation sessions. Open discussion of current vocal
issues and care for the child voice will conclude the workshop.

receive a confirmation via email within one week. The workshop
registration fee includes continental breakfast. The workshop is
subject to cancellation if under-enrolled. Final confirmation will be
sent via email by August 8.
