The Mauney-Schaeffer Conference Hall has been designed to serve the needs of both the campus and local communities, especially the College’s Business Council members, by providing a venue for education, conferences, meetings, career development and College/business interaction. Mauney-Schaeffer Halls will house the proposed Conference Hall, the Charles M. Snipes School of Business, the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, and the School of Computing Sciences and Mathematics. It will also house the College’s Career Center, which will be a resource for students, alumni and business associates of the College.

The Conference Hall includes a small lecture hall, a computer lab, multimedia classrooms, seminar rooms, a lobby reception/registration area and the Business Council Board Room. The upper floors of Mauney Hall house the Snipes School of Business, the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences and other faculty offices. The upper floors of Schaeffer Hall provide apartments and guest accommodations for visiting professors, guest speakers, conference attendees and interns. Rooms in this area may also be reserved by Business Council members for meetings, conferences and offsite interviews.

Located on the Quad of the Lenoir-Rhyne College campus, Mauney-Schaeffer Hall offers the ideal setting for meetings and conferences. Catering is available from Aramark, the College’s food-service provider, and multimedia equipment will be available in most meeting rooms and classrooms. Ample parking is available near the Conference Hall and a new parking lot will be built behind the facility for loading and handicapped parking.
