Sarah Hinsch, a senior majoring in political science, was selected to serve as an intern at the White House for fall semester.
As part of the Lutheran Colleges Washington Semester program, Hinsch, who is from Greenville, Tenn., is participating in a variety of field trips and meetings with public policy experts. Program participants are also required to complete a minimum of 12 hours of community service.
During her junior year, Hinsch served as the head delegate for a group of L-R students participating in the National Model United Nations. It was her responsibility to ensure that each student was prepared and had completed their assigned tasks. Hinsch is also pursuing departmental honors.
