Mission Statement
Within the context of a faith based
liberal arts education, the School of Fine Arts guides students in their
pursuit of excellence in the aesthetic, analytical, technical and
pedagogical skills necessary to serve society as practicing
professionals of the fine arts; the School serves the university community
by providing classroom instruction, performances and exhibitions that
enhance and facilitate the education of individuals as life-long
participants and informed audiences of the musical, theatrical and
visual arts; and, the School of Fine Arts seeks to provide service,
resources, and opportunities to the church and to the community at
large.
