Outdoor Adventure Club

Objective:  To provide L-R students with the opportunity to develop outdoor skills, participate in outdoor activities, to gain an appreciation of nature, to promote physical fitness, and to work on team building skills.

Some of the Outdoor Adventure Club’s possible activities include:

Hiking
Backpacking
Orienteering
Rock climbing – both outdoors and on climbing walls
White water river rafting
Canoeing
Kayaking
Skiing/snowboarding
River tubing
Horseback riding
Mountain biking
Ropes course – both high and low
Repelling

Rentals
Backpack
Sleeping bag
Stove
Pot
Plate and cup
Tent (4 man)
Water bottle
First Aid Kit

An entire package including on of all the above may be rented for $5 for 4 days. (Late fees may be added if not returned on time.)
Rentals are on a first come first serve basis.  Priority is given to Outdoor Adventure Club planed events.  To reserve equipment e-mail lroac@lrc.edu
