- Bid Day
The brothers of Pi Kappa Phi proudly welcomed 7 new associate
members into the fraternity. John Davis, Matthew Noel, Daniel
Angebranndt, Jacob Goedken, Ben Witcher, Bobby Frost, and Welby Rodberg
makeup the Alpha Upsilon pledge class.
4/22/06
- Golf Tournament
2nd annual Brandon Killingsworth Pi Kapp classic will be held on
Saturday, April 22, 2006 at River Crest Golf Club. The cost will
be $200 per 4 person team which includes golf, cart, rang balls, lunch
and prizes. We will begin with a 2:00 pm Shotgun start.
Registration will begin at 12:30. Proceeds go to

- Super bowl Sunday
Pi Kappa Phi will be hosting a Super Bowl party on February 4, 2006.
Everyone is invited. We will have food and a projection screen to
watch the game on, along with several smaller TVs around the house.
1/30/06
- Smoker
Pi Kappa Phi will be holding a smoker at 7:00 on January 30, 2006.
All eligible rushees are invited. We will meet at the house, have
a presentation and then discuss issues over cigars and a dinner.
1/8/06 - Midyears
The chapters current executive council attended Midyears Leadership
Conference in Charlotte North Carolina on the weekend of 1/18/06.
They met hundreds of other Pi Kapps from around the country and were
recognized in a large group event for their outstanding progress
throughout the previous 2 semesters.
12/15/05
- New Executive Council
A new Executive Council (EC) was elected at meeting this Sunday.
The administration consists of the following members:
Archon: Justin Frye
Vice Archon: Chris Maurer
Treasurer: Sean Kelly
Secretary: Andrew Matznick
Warden: Ben Cook
Historian: Tyler Gates
Chaplain: Phillip Bostian
11/18/05 - New brothers initiated
Sean Kelly and Chris Maurer were initiated as brothers on November
18, 2005. They are now Alpha Tau 420 and Alpha Tau 421,
respectively.
11/11/05 - No Boundaries Week
The chapter held No Boundaries week on the week of November 6 through
November 12. During the week, they raised money for their
philanthropy, Push America through numerous events. These events
included the Miss-A-Meal Program, where Lenoir-Rhyne students were able
to donate a meal from their meal plan, which translated into money for
Push. They finished the week off with their annual riding of the
bicycle for 36 hours strait outside of the Cromer Center.
10/24/05 - Helping
Hand
The chapter was happy to lend a helping hand to the Latino
Community.
They helped prepare the school for use by the Latino population of
Catawba County. They spent several hours on Saturday morning
painting, and plan to help them in the future.

Chris Maurer and Sean Kelly jumped into the Pi Kappa Phi brothers off of
the Rhyne Building Steps after making the best decision of their lives. |
