About Health Services
Student Health Service is an on-campus health facility which helps to
meet the students optimum wellness through wellness promotion, illness and injury
management, and health lifestyle choices.
Student Health Service is staffed by a registered nurse.
After hours care is provided by Piedmont Urgent
Care, Frye Hospital, and Catawba Hospital Emergency Rooms.
All resident students are eligible to use the Student Health Service facility
with a current physical health form on file in the clinic. All day, commuting students who
pay the $40.00 per semester health service fee are also eligible to use the Student Health
Service. This fee is paid in the Business Office in Lineberger Administration Building.
Student Health Facility Fall and Spring Semester hours are listed below:
NEW HOURS!
- Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 11:30 am; 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
- The Center is closed on Tuesdays 11:00 am - 1;30 pm
- Friday 9:30 am - 11:30 am
For emergencies or illness/injuries with potential life threatening
outcomes call 911 or have a friend or security take the student to the
hospital. The health center is not equipped for life threatening
emergencies.
