Emergency Procedures Guide and Guidelines for Lenoir-Rhyne University

Preface

This Emergency Procedures Plan has been designed to provide a contingency manual for the Lenoir-Rhyne administrator in order that he/she may plan for campus emergencies.  While the plan does not cover every conceivable situation, it does supply the basic administrative guidelines necessary to cope with most campus emergencies.

The University policies and procedures herein are expected to be followed by all administrators whose responsibilities and authority cover the operational procedures found in the plan.  Campus emergency operations will be conducted within the framework of the University guidelines.  Any exceptions to those crisis management procedures will be conducted by, or with the approval of those University administrators directing and/or coordinating the emergency operations.

All request for procedural changes, suggestions or recommendations will be submitted in writing to the Director of Security and Safety for technical review.  All changes recommended by the Director of Security and Safety will be submitted in writing to the administration for evaluation and adoption.
