From The Director
 Hello and Welcome to the
Student Success website at Lenoir-Rhyne College. My name is Leonárd G. Geddes,
Jr.
I am the
Assistant Dean of Students, and am responsible for providing support services that will help undergraduate students improve their academic
performance and achieve their educational goals.
Services Provided
Student
Assessments - One-on-one academic
assessments are provided for students to determine the reasons underlining
their academic problems. Through the
assessment process, we hope to develop practical solutions that help
improve student academic performance. If you are interested in a
one-one-assessment, please email me at Geddes_lg@lrc.edu.
Workshops -
Academic workshops covering areas such as general collegiate academic
expectations, study techniques and strategies, time management, effective
note taking and textbook study tips.
Student Alert Liaison
- We respond to faculty student alerts regarding
students who have low classroom attendance or poor performance.
Student Success Library - We provide a variety of academic self-help
resources. Student may checkout
these resources for a specified timeframe.
All of the services are available to any student at
no cost to the student.
